Jello Play Dough

Good Morning Families!

Today's Jello Play Dough activity is brought to you from Ms. Monica, and her family.

Here are all the ingredients you will need:

Directions: Use one box of Jello with the ingredients listed below.  The Jello is what adds the color to the play dough, so make sure to mix each color in separate bowls, to keep the colors from mixing. Parents please note the boiling water: make sure to help your little ones with the pouring and mixing of this ingredient, we don't want any little fingers to get burned!

Step 1: Add all of the Ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Ms. Monica's grandson is working on orange play dough, while her granddaughter is making green.

Step 2: Using a spoon, mix all the ingredients together.  Once the play dough has cooled, you may use your hands to knead the dough until it is no longer sticky.

Here is your final project! Please store your play dough in a plastic Ziploc bag, or another air tight container.

Have your child form shapes (circle, square, rectangle, triangle, heart, oval) with their play dough.  Have older preschoolers form the letters of their name with their play dough.

We hope you enjoy your Jello Pay Dough!  Have a wonderful day!
