Spatial Awareness Nature Puzzle

Good Morning Families!

Today is Graduation Day for our 4's! We hope you enjoy the modified Graduation ceremony we have planned for you.  It's always bittersweet seeing our older friends move onto Kindergarten.  We are so proud of all you have accomplished! Thank you for spending the last year(s) with us, it has been an absolute joy to teach your children!.

Don't forget to check out the Usborne Book Fair flyer at the end of this email. Here is the link if you would like to place an order online:

Today's activity is from Ms. Monica and Ms. Shawna: creating a Nature Puzzle while practicing spatial awareness skills.

"Spatial awareness refers to a person’s recognition of how he or she, or an object, interacts with a space. It’s being able to fit items into an environment. Playing with puzzles helps build spatial awareness skills. A child is required to determine which piece goes where and then manipulate the piece to get into the shape."

Have a great rest of the day!
