"When Jesus described heaven, he never spoke of a place; rather, he described a state of heart, a way of being attentive to the sacred in ordinary things, things we might easily overlook. He said if we are awake and present, heaven can be found in such small things....When we pray, we listen for that place where heaven is already alive, possible and present within us, in this moment, in this very breath. We feel the leaven in the bread, already kneaded into our life. All we need to do is hold it in our hands, and feel is rise." (31, 35)
