Presbyterian Women: Joyce Carter or Jen Labe

Sarah Circle

The Sarah Circle meets on the second Tuesday evening of each month at 7:00pm in the Church Lounge.  We are currently studying the book of Esther.  Our Study guide is Wisdom for Today's Woman--Insights from Esther by Poppy Smith (Fisherman Bible Studyguide Series).  Women in today's world face an onslaught of ever-changing challenges and circumstances. It's often hard to know how to respond. But centuries ago, one humble, extraordinary woman stepped into the limelight where she encountered great trials of her own--and became a model of godly living for all women to follow.

We have engaging conversation while working through the study chapters together--no "homework" required!  All are welcome.

Phoebe Circle

The Phoebe Circle meets on the second Wednesday morning of each month at 10:00am.  We are currently using the Presbyterian Women's Bible study material callsed What My Grandmothers Taught Me:  Learning from the Women in Matthew's Geneology of Jesus by Merryl Blair.  Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba, and Mary—Matthew names these women for a reason. How might Jesus have heard the stories of his grandmothers? What might the young Jesus have felt as he heard about his family? What might the stories of these women have added to his sense of identity, as part of a particular family in a particular time and place?

Join us!  All are welcome.
