Pastor Kim is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church U.S.A going on 33 years. She has served churches in Virginia, Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa and Maryland, as well as congregations in California and Texas while in the Air Force. She enjoys preaching about God’s steadfast love for us and about how God continues to pursue a relationship with the people he loves: which is all of us. Her husband, Steve, is also a Presbyterian minister, currently serving the Presbytery of Baltimore as staff interim pastor for the presbytery. They love spending time with their two grown sons and new daughter-in-law. They enjoy traveling, reading, attending Archery Tournaments, and watching Grand Sumo.
Libby Turney is the Director of our Churchville Presbyterian Preschool and Daycare. She holds a Masters’ Degree in Education and has over 35years experience in Child Care and Education. Libby is also a member of Churchville Presbyterian Church and has been part of our Harford County community since 2001.
The Preschool and Daycare offers several programs for both Preschool Only, as well as Preschool combined with Child Care. The goal of the Center is to offer flexible and affordable Preschool and Child Care for the families in the Harford and Cecil County community. The Center offers “Preschool Only” programs from 9:00am to 11:30am or 12:30pm to 3:00pm. The Center is also open for Child Care, combined with the Preschool program, from 6:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. My name is Tammy Ward and I am the Administrative Assistant here at Churchville Presbyterian Church. I have been with CPC for the past 3 years and I am proud to say, "I love my job".
I have been married to my husband - William - for 24 years. I am a very proud Mama and very blessed to have two wonderful sons , 1 daughter-in-law and two fantastic grand children. My family and I have lived in Harford County for the past 20 years. I am also a Travel Agent with Riverdale Travel dba All Sights Travel for the past 24 years and work from my Home Office. There is no better feeling to have than assisting my clients in making their travel dreams come true.
I am an active member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Bel Air and have been there for 9 years. I love participating in Bible Study and learning all about the Bible and what our Lord and Savior has done for us. I am passionate about my God, my family, traveling, dancing and my jobs.
My name is Joslyne Simmons, and I am the Christian Community Outreach Coordinator here at Churchville Presbyterian Church. Originally from Wisconsin, I've lived in several parts of the country but moved to Harford County four years ago from Houston, Texas, along with my three wonderful children.
I bring over 20 years of experience in marketing, event planning and social media. I’m passionate about building connections, serving others, and creating fun, meaningful opportunities for our church to engage with the community. In addition to my role at the church, I work as a marketing associate at a public relations and media agency, and enjoy art, museums, music, traveling, spending time with my family and cooking.
My faith and commitment to serving God are at the heart of everything I do. I strive to shine His light in every space I enter. I’m excited to be part of the staff here and to focus on strengthening our community outreach efforts. Serving others has always been important to me, and I’m honored to do that here at Churchville Presbyterian.
